Natures Only Biosenna contains hydroxyanthracene glycosides known as sennosides. These sennosides stimulate colon activity and thus have a laxative effect. These glycosides also increase the fluid secretion by colon thereby softening stool and increasing its bulk.

Biosenna acts as laxative and has a direct action on mucosa. It increases the rate of colonic motility, enhances colonic transit and inhibits water and electrolyte secretion.

Biosenna is indicated for occasional constipation and for colon evacuation prior to rectal and bowel examinations.
